PTE Test

Pearson Test Of English (PTE) Academic is a computer-based English language proficiency test accepted by thousands of universities, colleges, and institutions in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Singapore, Germany and more for higher education. This test is approved for all Australian and New Zealand visa and migration applications. This test assesses listening, reading, speaking and writing skills in a single three-hour test session.

The standard test fee in India is INR 13,300 (including GST). PTE Academic is administered in more than 200 locations worldwide. The score of this test is available within 5 business days. The score is valid for 2 years after the test-taking date. One can retake the PTE Academic test within or after 5 days the result of the previous test is generated.

In PTE Academic, a computer-based marking system is used to enhance accuracy and impartiality in the scoring system. The PTE scores range from 10–90, with 90 being the highest and 10 being the lowest.

PTE Test Registration

  1. Check the accepted ID policy in your region
  2. Create a Pearson account
  3. Receive an email within 48 hours with your login details.
  4. Sign in and schedule your test

A student can register for the test by phone through the call centers. He/she has to contact the customer service team in his/her region. Credit card (Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, or JCB®) or debit card (Visa® or MasterCard® only) are the accepted forms of payment.
