Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

Test Of English as a Foreign Language or TOEFL is a standardized English proficiency test that measures the ability of non-native English speakers to use and understand English. This test measures your ability to use and understand English through your reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. This test score is accepted by more than 1,000 universities around the world including the universities of the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom (UK), across Europe, and Asia. This score is also helpful for working people for immigration and visa purposes.

The Educational Testing Services (ETS) conducts this Test. TOEFL score remains valid for 2 years after the test-taking date. The test fee varies according to country, in India it is US$180. For booking your TOEFL Test, you can contact us as we are the TOEFL iBT authorized consultant. The TOEFL examination is conducted more than 50 times each year at authorized test centers around the world. Anybody can retake the test but there should be 3 days gap between two test dates. The total score of the TOEFL iBT test is 120.

A test taker should bring valid original identification documents in the test center for verification purposes. It is highly recommended to arrive at the test center at least 30 minutes before the specified start time. Identification procedure may include

You can check your TOEFL score online by logging into your IBT account approximately 6 days after the test date. It will be sent to your selected institution approximately 11 days after the test date.

TOEFL Test Registration

Online Registration-

You can register online visiting the TOEFL official website. It is open 24 hours in 7 days a week. You can pay your fees through Debit cards, Credit cards, PayPal or electronic check. You must mention your name the same as your Identification documents which you will bring on the test day. The registration process will be closed 7 days before the test date.

Phone Registration-

You can also register your TOEFL exam by talking to the executives of TOEFL. You must spell your name exactly as it appears on the identification you will bring on test day. You have to go to www.ets.org/toefl/contact and need to select your location to find the phone number for your Regional Registration Center (RRC).  You have to make your payment through credit/debit card or with an electronic check (e-check). The registration process will be closed 7 days before the test date.

Mail Registration-

You have to download and fill out a Registration Form with spelling the same as the identification documents you will bring on test day. After making the payment, mail your form to RRC at least 4 weeks before your test date.

The paper-based test is offered only in locations where testing via the internet is not available. The test is similar to the Computer-based test but it does not include a Speaking section
